Fitment Notes
This tire will fit most 590 mm sized wheelchair rims. You’ll know you have a 590mm rim if your existing tire size is 26 x 1” (23-590 mm), 26 x 1” (25-590 mm), or 26 x 1 3/8" (37-590 mm). You can confirm the size by looking at the size stamped on your existing tire. In most cases your rim will also have a hole for an inner tube valve stem (meaning the rim is of a standard size). If your existing tire is not stamped with the 590 mm size, this tire will most likely not fit. This tire will replace most tires used on Quickie, Top End (Invacare), TiLite, or any other wheelchair where the rim has a hole for a valve stem. It will also fit most rims including rims from Spinergy, Primo, and X-Core that have a hole for an inner tube valve stem.
Installation Notes
Installing these tires onto a wheelchair rim can be very challenging without the proper tools. This is because the tire itself is smaller than the wheelchair rim and needs to be stretched onto the rim. If you do not have the ability or the tools to properly install these tires, it is advisable to seek professional help. You cannot install this tire by hand.
