How Does it Work?
As the wheelchair caster rolls forward or backward, a self generating power system (magnet ring) supplies a small electric charge to power each LED light. The faster the wheelchair caster rolls, the more the LED's light up. Even though there are only 4 small LED lights per side, once rolling they give the impression the entire wheel is covered in lights! In fact the LED light is bright enough to be seen up to 300 meters away making these caster wheels an excellent safety device while using your wheelchair at night.

Installation Notes
Installing these caster wheels on your wheelchair is the same as any other except that you need to create a little friction by tightening your axle to a point to make the lights work. If your axle is too tight, you will hear a clicking sound. If no lights are seen, your axle is not tight enough.

Fitment Notes
This lighted wheelchair caster assembly will replace 5 x 1 inch caster wheels found on Quickie, Top End (Invacare), Colours, TiLite, and many other wheelchair brands.
