Perfect Fit

Perfect Fit.

It was my first time replacing them and a two piece rim. I had to get innovative with two large C-Clamps and a piece of angled iron to compress therims together. I just took my time with it andxx CDwent slow. It ended up working out great. Even replaced the ring lock screws with stainless ones, mine were all rusty even though they were only 6 months old.

I’m still surprised by the poor material used for the actual wheel. My chair only has 1,500 miles on it and the og tires were thread bare with one being spilt.

I got an estimate from my local chair repair and they want almost $1,000 for all 4 wheels and another $300 to instal. For the $200 I paid for my two drive wheel and the hour it took me to replace. I will be buying and doing my caster wheel soon as I get the money.
